PETROV’S FLU– 2022. Synopsis by Rotten Tomatoes. “The Petrovs are an average family living in the peaceful city of Yekaterinburg in post-Soviet Russia. They follow their daily regimens with quiet consistency, but beneath this layer of the ordinary, things turn out to be quite extraordinary. Petrov lives his life in a parallel comic universe, breaking out of the mundane to do everything from abducting children as a humanoid alien, to lining up Russian aristocrats against a wall and shooting them down. Petrov has been dealing with the flu, but goes about his regular life, often getting drunk and spending the night out. His wife, Petrova, is a librarian by day and a superhero.”

1) AFTER THE WEDDING– I watched the ORIGINAL from Denmark with Mads Mikkelsen and loved it. Here is a synopsis of the RE-MAKE which is fairly accurate.
2019. Synopsis by Netflix. “When Calcutta orphanage manager Isabel is summoned to New York City to meet a potential donor, she’s surprised to find herself invited to the wedding of the benefactor’s daughter — where Isabel comes face to face with her past.”
8/9/19- Really bad reviews for this re-make– too bad because the original, released in 2006 with the same title and staring Mads Mikelsen, was excellent. TRDB.
