SEPTEMBER 22, 2022-
DEAR FRIENDS:
QUICK LOOK AT MY FAVORITES OF THE WEEK-
1) AFTER THE WEDDING– (the original from 2006)-
MOVIES I SAW THIS WEEK-
1) AFTER THE WEDDING– I watched the ORIGINAL from Denmark with Mads Mikkelsen and loved it. Here is a synopsis of the RE-MAKE which is fairly accurate.
2019. Synopsis by Netflix. “When Calcutta orphanage manager Isabel is summoned to New York City to meet a potential donor, she’s surprised to find herself invited to the wedding of the benefactor’s daughter — where Isabel comes face to face with her past.”

8/9/19- Really bad reviews for this re-make– too bad because the original, released in 2006 with the same title and staring Mads Mikelsen, was excellent. TRDB.

He dreams of making a comeback and starts performing in the streets of Peckham, in the hope that someone, anyone, will listen. An impromptu jam with Stevie, an autistic young drummer with an incredible gift for rhythm, sparks an unexpected friendship between the two misunderstood musicians.
