THE OWLS- Premise by Netflix. “A decade after unplugging their all-girl band, the Screech, lesbian rockers Iris (Guinevere Turner), Lily (Lisa Gornick), MJ (V.S. Brodie) and Carol (Cheryl Dunye) are in an adult-contemporary rut … until a hot young wild child named Cricket (Deak Evgenikos) enters their midst and mixes things up. Jealousy flares when Cricket turns on the charm, but when tragedy strikes, the women are forced to shelve their differences and work toward a common purpose.”
