1) IT AIN’T OVER– 2023. Synopsis by Rotten Tomatoes. “An intimate portrait of a misunderstood American icon, this emotional and uplifting documentary about Yogi Berra takes us beyond the caricatures and “Yogisms,” and into the heart of a sports legend whose unparalleled accomplishments on the baseball diamond were often overshadowed by his off-the-field persona.”

2) STILL: A MICHAEL J. FOX MOVIE– 2023. Synopsis by Rotten Tomatoes. “The film, which will incorporate documentary, archival and scripted elements, will recount Fox’s extraordinary story in his own words — the improbable tale of an undersized kid from a Canadian army base who rose to the heights of stardom in 1980s Hollywood.”

3) MONICA– 2023. Synopsis by Rotten Tomatoes. “Monica is an intimate portrait of a woman who, for the first time in 20 years, returns home to the Midwest to take care of her ailing mother.”

4) BLACKBERRY– 2023. Synopsis by Rotten Tomatoes. “‘BlackBerry’ tells the story of Mike Lazaridis and Jim Balsillie, the two men that charted the course of the spectacular rise and catastrophic demise of the world’s first smartphone.”

5) THE STARLING GIRL– 2023. Synopsis by Rotten Tomatoes. “Seventeen-year-old Jem Starling struggles to define her place within her fundamentalist Christian community in rural Kentucky. Even her greatest joy of dancing with the church group is tempered by worry that her actions are sinful and she is caught between a burgeoning awareness of her own sexuality and her religious devotion. With the return of Owen, an enigmatic youth pastor, Jem soon finds herself attracted to his worldliness and charm.”

6) L’IMMENSITA– 2023. Synopsis by Rotten Tomatoes. “Rome, 1970s: a world which straddles new neighborhoods being created, TV variety shows still in black & white, societal advances and family models that now seem outdated. Clara and Felice have just moved into a new apartment. Their marriage has reached a point of no return: they no longer love each other, but they can’t seem to leave each other either.”

7) DEALING WITH DAD- 2022. Synopsis by Rotten Tomatoes. “DEALING WITH DAD follows MARGARET CHANG as she reluctantly goes back to her hometown with her hapless brothers to deal with the sudden depression of their dad. The thing is, everybody hates him and he’s actually nicer depressed than well.”
