MOVIES I SAW THIS WEEK
1)  HUSTLE– 2022. Synopsis by RT. “Stanley Sugerman’s (Adam Sandler) love for basketball is unparalleled, but the travel weary Philadelphia 76ers scout who has higher ambitions of being a coach remains stuck on the road looking for the next unknown talent. His search around the world leads him to Spain, when he discovers Bo Cruz (NBA player Juancho Hernangómez), an incredible streetball player with a troubled past. Stanley and Bo connect.”

6/13/22- Excellent reviews-from the critics- I saw it and liked it very much. TRDB. Netflix

Instead, he finds himself swept into journalism, whose influence and reach is booming with the help of the printing press, widely available of late.”

9) THE JANES– 2022. Synopsis by RT. “In the spring of 1972, police raided an apartment on the South Side of Chicago. Seven women were arrested and charged. The accused were part of a clandestine network. Using code names, blindfolds, and safe houses to protect their identities and their work, they built an underground service for women seeking safe, affordable, illegal abortions. They called themselves Jane.”
