DEAR FRIENDS:
QUICK LOOK AT MY FAVORITES OF THE WEEK-

2) NAVALNY- CNN FILMS
_____________________________________________________________________
MOVIES I SAW THIS WEEK-
1) THE BEST OF ENEMIES2019- Synopsis by Netflix. “On opposite sides for a decade, civil rights activist Ann Atwater and Ku Klux Klan leader C.P. Ellis grudgingly work together on a committee overseeing school desegregation in Durham, North Carolina. In the process, the two form an unlikely bond.”
4/24/22- I saw this movie for the second time and enjoyed it much more this time. TRDB.
2) NAVALNYIn 1961, Kempton Bunton, a 60-year old taxi driver, stole Goya’s portrait of the Duke of Wellington from the National Gallery in London. It was the first (and remains the only) theft in the Gallery’s history. Kempton sent ransom notes saying that he would return the painting on condition that the government invested more in care for the elderly.
4/28/22-Excellent reviews by the critics and fair ones from audiences. I liked it very much. CNN FILMS
