1) BOYS STATE– 2020. Synopsis by Rotten Tomatoes. “Boys State is a political coming-of-age story, examining the health of American democracy through an unusual experiment: a thousand 17-year-old boys from across Texas gather together to build a representative government from the ground up. 5) YUSUF HAWKINS: STORM OVER BROOKLYN- 2020. Synopsis by Rotten Tomatoes. “YUSUF HAWKINS: STORM OVER BROOKLYN, directed by Muta’Ali Muhammad (“Life’s Essentials with Ruby Dee”) tells the story of Yusuf Hawkins, a black teenager who was murdered in 1989 by a group of young white men in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn.
