YOU GO TO MY HEAD– 2020. Synopsis by Netflix. “Awakening after an auto accident with no memory of her past, Dafne finds herself stranded in the Sahara Desert until a man named Jake rescues her. Dafne’s beauty inspires Jake to tell her they’re married — but his gambit soon begins to fall apart.”
2/14/20- Great reviews. TRDB.
3/10/20- I enjoyed this movie very much plus the Sahara was beautifully photographed. TRDB.

2) FIRST COW– 2020. Synopsis by Netflix. “For soft-spoken Cookie Figowitz, it’s a lonely life cooking for a group of fur trappers in the early 19th century Oregon Territory. But Cookie finds a friend and business partner in Chinese immigrant King Lu.”
3/6/20- Excellent reviews for this drama. TRDB.
3) THE WAY BACK– 2020. Synopsis by Netflix. “After losing his wife and family while in the throes of alcohol addiction, a former professional hoops star looking for redemption returns to his high school to begin life anew when its head basketball coach resigns.”
3/4/20- Very good reviews. TRDB.
4) GO BACK TO CHINA– 2020. Synopsis by Netflix. “When spoiled rich girl Sasha Li blows through half of her trust fund, she is cut off by her father and forced to go back to China and work for the family toy business. What begins simply as a way to regain financial support soon turns into a life-altering journey of self-discovery.”
3/7/20- Fair to good reviews. It sounds interesting and I’ll try to see it. TRDB.
5) SWALLOW– 2020. Synopsis by Netflix. “A loving husband, a beautiful house, doting in-laws: Newly pregnant Hunter seems to have it all. But when her home starts to feel like a prison, she begins the subliminally subversive act of swallowing household objects to regain control.”

6) THE WILD GOOSE LAKE– 2020. Synopsis by Netflix. “After killing a cop, small-time crime boss Zhou Zenong finds a large bounty on his head. As he nurses his wounds at an isolated lake, Zhou forms a bond with a hooker sent to help him — but her motives are unclear.”
3/7/20- The critics liked it a lot but audiences didn’t. TRDB.

BACURAU- 3/6/20- Synopsis by Netflix. “After the 94-year-old matriarch of a Brazilian outback village dies, residents find that their town, Bacurau, is disappearing from maps of the area. Meanwhile, a party of wealthy hunters arrives for a deadly safari to eradicate the townsfolk, too.”
3/6/20- Very good reviews but this premise does absolutely nothing and I will skip it. TRDB.
2) HOPE GAP- Really poor reviews. Critics said that Annette Bening’s talent was wasted here. TRDB.
3) THE BANKER– 2020. Synopsis by Netflix. “In the 1950s, enterprising black businessmen Bernard Garrett and Joe Morris start up a bank but are obliged to hire a white man to front their organization while they pose as a janitor and a chauffeur.”
3/6/20- Poor reviews. TRDB.
4) EXTRA ORDINARY– 2020. Synopsis by Netflix. “In this “spirited” comedy, sweet but lonely driving instructor Rose Dooley reluctantly dusts off her supernatural skills to save a man’s daughter from a faded rock star who’s cast a spell on her and plans to use her for evil purposes.”
3/6/20- Good reviews but this doesn’t appeal to me at all. TRDB.

SAINT FRANCES– 2020. Synopsis by Netflix. “Fresh on the heels of an unplanned pregnancy and subsequent abortion, Bridget is in no mood for care-giving when she’s offered a job as a 6-year-old’s nanny. But after getting off to a rocky start, she begins to form a connection with her charge.”
