11/11/18- An excellent drama with wonderful acting and a perceptive look at a good family dealing with a real crisis. TRDB.
2) WILDLIFE– 2018. Synopsis by Netflix. “The emotional perils of adolescence are already challenging enough for Joe Brinson, but after his parents’ move to Montana causes friction between them, Joe begins to realize that his family is dissolving in front of him.”

11/12/18- I have to say that I was a bit disappointed in this movie. Some good acting by Mulligan but I found some of the screenplay hard to take seriously. TRDB.

2) SOLLERS POINT– 2018. Synopsis by Netflix. “Out of prison but under house arrest, petty criminal Keith is living at his dad’s Baltimore house while waiting to rejoin the community. But as Keith tries to get on the right track, past connections keep drawing him back to his former life.”

1) THE BALLAD OF BUSTER SCRUGGS– 2018. Synopsis by Rotten Tomatoes. “The Ballad of Buster Scruggs is a six-part Western anthology film, a series of tales about the American frontier told through the unique and incomparable voice of Joel and Ethan Coen. Each chapter tells a distinct story about the American West.”

2) NUMBER 37- 2018. Synopsis by Netflix. “In this South African tribute to “Rear Window,” small-time crook Randal Hendricks is confined to a wheelchair and in hock to a loan shark when he witnesses a neighbor slay a cop. Suddenly, Randal sees a way to get the cash he desperately needs.”
11/9/18- I have my doubts after reading the synopsis but reviews were really great. TRDB.
3) WEIGHTLESS- 2018. Synopsis by Rotten Tomatoes. ” A haunting drama of a man, living on the margins of society, who suddenly finds himself responsible for a ten year-old son whom he hasn’t seen since infancy. 5) EL ANGEL– 2018. Synopsis by Netflix. “In this riveting biopic, baby-faced teen Carlos Puch becomes Argentina’s most notorious serial killer, beginning his criminal career by joining with a schoolmate in a robbery and murder spree that makes Puch a media sensation.”

7) IN A RELATIONSHIP– 2018. Synopsis by Netflix. “Though Hallie and Owen can’t agree on how many years they’ve been a couple, they agree that it’s time for a break when Owen balks at the idea of living together. Meanwhile, new love blooms between Owen’s best friend and Hallie’s heartbreaker cousin.”

8) THE LONG DUMB ROAD– 2018. Synopsis by Netflix. “A chance meeting of two men at turning points in their lives leads to a chaotic but enlightening road trip as young Nathan — on his way to a Los Angeles art school — is taken out of his comfort zone by boozy mechanic Richard.”

1) THE GIRL IN THE SPIDER’S WEB– 2018. Synopsis by Netflix. “Tech prodigy Lisbeth Salander and journalist Mikael Blomkvist join forces once again in an effort to unwind a complex tangle of corruption and cybercrime — a task that grows increasingly dangerous as they unearth a world of secrets.”

2) PIMP– 2018. Synopsis by Netflix. “As she struggles to take care of her mom, female pimp Wednesday hopes for a better life with her girlfriend, Nikki — who starts turning tricks to help out. But the couple faces trouble when Wednesday gets caught in a dangerous game with a male pimp.”
