MOVIES I SAW THIS WEEK AT HOME-
1) FIRST MATCH– 2018. Synopsis by Netflix. “Raised in foster care, high schooler Monique tries to reconnect with her father, a ne’er-do-well ex-wrestler, when he’s released from prison. After getting nowhere, she joins the boys’ wrestling team at school to make her dad take notice of her.”

4/19/18- The movie was OK but the lead actress, who was wonderful, stole the show. TRDB. Netflix Streaming.

2) BORG vs. McENROE– 2018. Synopsis by Netflix. “BORG The 1980 Wimbledon final caps off this historical sports drama that chronicles the fierce rivalry between Björn Borg and John McEnroe, who — despite their contrasting temperaments — share strikingly similar psyches beneath the surface.”

4/11/18- Very good reviews. TRDB.

4/20/18- This movie left me cold in general and the tennis scenes were terrible. Contrast this to “Battle of the Sexes” that was most enjoyable and you’ve got a weak movie that was OK for some historical value. TRDB. Netflix Streaming.

3) KODACHROME– 2018. Synopsis by Netflix. “After Kodak’s 2009 decision to stop manufacturing its popular Kodachrome film, Matt Ryder embarks on a road trip with his estranged dad — a famed photographer — to take four last rolls of the film to the only lab still developing it.”

4/20/18- Fair reviews for this movie. The premise seems interesting to me and I love road trips- I’ll see it.  TRDB.

4/22/18- I liked the movie– especially Ed Harris. Don’t turn it off until the movie is fully done as there are some very interesting photos during the credits. TRDB. Netflix Streaming.
