1)  PRAYERS FOR THE STOLEN– 2021. Synopsis by Rotten Tomatoes. “Three young girls on the path to adolescence examine life in a town at war.”
11/19/21- Excellent reviews for this foreign drama and I liked it very much.  TRDB. Netflix.

2) tick, tick… Boom– 2021. Synopsis by Rotten Tomatoes. “Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winner Lin-Manuel Miranda makes his feature directorial debut with tick, tick…BOOM!, an adaptation of the autobiographical musical by Jonathan Larson, who revolutionized theater as the creator of Rent. The film follows Jon (Academy Award nominee and Tony Award winner Andrew Garfield), a young theater composer who’s waiting tables at a New York City diner in 1990 while writing what he hopes will be the next great American musical. Days before he’s due to showcase his work in a make-or-break performance, Jon is feeling the pressure from everywhere.

4) AULCIE- 2021. Synopsis by Rotten Tomatoes. “AULCIE is the incredible story of Aulcie Perry, an African American basketball player who hailed from the violence-filled streets of the 1960s Newark, NJ, and who found his glory in leading Israel’s Maccabi basketball team to the 1977 European championship.”

5) SHE PARADISE– 2020. Synopsis by Rotten Tomatoes. “17-year-old Sparkle discovers a free spirited group of Soca dancers at a car show in the bustling streets of downtown Trinidad. Enamored by the glimpse of sisterhood, she uses her wit to convince them to take her under their wing. The women bring Sparkle into a dizzying nightlife of partying, glamour, and money, but as things spiral out of control, Sparkle is forced to make some tough decisions.”

7) BAD LUCK BANGING LOONY PORN– 2021. 10/29/21- I saw this documentary as part of  the AJC of Westchester/ Fairfield and liked it very much. A series of interviews by a Muslim woman journalist with skinheads and other white supremacists. Excellent!! TRDB.

MY UNORTHODOX LIFE-

A 9 episode series about a very rich family with many of the strengths and weaknesses most families need to work out. Some of the characters are/were part of ultrareligous

Jewish groups. I found it both interesting and funny. TRDB.
