The writer and soldier was a complex man who survived the horrors of fighting in the First World War and was decorated for his bravery but who became a vocal critic of the government’s continuation of the war when he returned from service.”<\/div>\n

This humble crane operator from Barrow-in-Furness managed to gain entry to The British Open Golf Championship qualifying in 1976, despite never playing a round of golf before. He shot the worst round in Open history and drew the ire of the golfing elite, but became a folk hero in the process and, more importantly, showed his family the importance of pursuing your dreams.”<\/p>\n

a) WORLD’S GREATEST DAD<\/strong>– Premise by Netflix. “<\/a>Play Preview<\/span>\u00a0After his son (Daryl Sabara<\/span><\/a>) dies in an awkward freak accident, high school poetry teacher Lance (Robin Williams<\/span><\/a>) ghostwrites a suicide note to spare the family embarrassment. But when the note becomes an unexpected hit, Lance sees a chance to resurrect his writing career. In a bid for literary fame, Lance writes his son’s journal and passes it off as his own. Writer-director\u00a0Bob Goldthwait<\/span><\/a>‘s comedy debuted at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.”\u00a0This film got fairly good reviews and I’ll see it.<\/strong><\/p>\n

12\/10\/09– I saw this and liked it a lot. One critic called the film “a mind blowing shot of black-comic genius” and I agree.<\/strong>\u00a0Netflix. 12\/09<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
