They reconnect as adults when Sasha, now a celebrity chef opening a restaurant in San Francisco, runs into Marcus, a happily struggling musician still living at home working for his dad.”<\/p>\n

6\/1\/19-\u00a0Surprisingly I actually enjoyed this movie. It has some interesting dialogue and is somewhat formulaic.\u00a0TRDB.\u00a0<\/strong>Netflix Streaming.<\/p>\n

2) HER SMELL<\/strong>– 2019. Synopsis by Netflix. “Despite her stardom, punk rock singer Becky Something is living out a personal mission of destruction fueled by drugs and a volatile temperament that threatens to alienate everyone she knows, including her bandmates.”<\/p>\n

4\/12\/19-\u00a0Very good reviews in general with a few negatives as well. I’ll give it a try. TRDB.<\/strong><\/p>\n

3) APOLLO 11-<\/strong> 2019. Synopsis by Netflix. “The Apollo 11 mission that took Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin to the moon comes to life again in this documentary that uses a wealth of NASA materials — including recordings of in-flight conversations — to create an immersive experience.”<\/p>\n

In the process, the film creates a candid encounter between two filmmakers born into different political moments, revealing their contrasting experiences of Irish nationalism, the role of images in social struggle, and the competing claims of personal and political responsibility.”<\/p>\n

This affectionate documentary looks at that famous scene’s history and ongoing influence.”<\/p>\n

5\/31\/19-\u00a0Mixed reviews at best for this documentary, but\u00a0Manning’s name keeps coming up in the news\u00a0so I’ll try to see this one.\u00a0TRDB.<\/strong><\/p>\n

10) ROCKETMAN-<\/strong> 2019. Synopsis by Netflix. “In the early 1970s, Elton John begins a rocket ride to fame. With his topnotch composing skills and over-the-top showmanship, he becomes one of the world’s most beloved rock stars over the next four decades, as recounted in this tuneful biopic.”<\/p>\n
