INCH’ALLAH- 2012. Synopsis by Netflix. “A Canadian obstetrician living in Israel makes multiple passes through heavily guarded checkpoints to get to her job at a women’s health clinic in Palestine. But political tensions take on personal overtones when she befriends a pregnant patient.”
8/16/13- A weak review in today’s NY Times and mixed ones in general, some loving it and some calling it contrived at best. TRDB.
6/20/14- A thought provoking drama that uses minimal dialogue and maximum acting to convey the story. I liked it but it is controversial for sure. TRDB. Netflix Streaming.

YOU WILL BE MY SON- 2013. Synopsis by Rotten Tomatoes. “Paul de Marseul (Niels Aretrup) is the passionate, demanding proprietor of his prestigious family wine estate. 8/16/13- Yesterday I saw the American remake of this Icelandic movie called “Prince Avalanche” and enjoyed it very much. TRDB.

9/11/13- I liked this movie that was about coming of age in the setting of Havana, Cuba but instead of rebelling against their parents they are rebelling against the state. Excellent acting made this movie excel. TRDB. Concast On-Demand.
