DEAD SNOW 2: RED VS. DEAD- 2014. Synopsis by Netflix. “After medical student Martin escapes from Nazi zombies, he finds himself charged with murdering his friends. But now he’s got more important things to worry about: gathering an army to face off against the bloodthirsty, undead battalion.”

10/10/14- Hard to believe but this film got good reviews. Guaranteed I will miss it. TRDB.

9/27/13- Very good reviews for this spooky sounding movie. The NY Times praised it in today’s review. TRDB.

JUG FACE- 2013. Synopsis by Netflix. “Teenage Ada is pregnant, which means she’ll make the ideal sacrifice to a monstrous beast that lives in a pit near her backwoods village. When she learns of her fate, however, she flees, leaving the community to cope with the unfed creature’s wrath.”

8/9/13- Today’s NY Times did not like this horrow film but most other critics did. TRDB.

JOHN DIES AT THE END- 2013. Synopsis by Rotten Tomatoes. “It’s a drug that promises an out-of-body experience with each hit. On the street they call it Soy Sauce, and users drift across time and dimensions. But some who come back are no longer human. Suddenly a silent otherworldly invasion is underway, and mankind needs a hero. What it gets instead is John and David, a pair of college dropouts who can barely hold down jobs. Can these two stop the oncoming horror in time to save humanity? No. No, they can’t.”

2/1/13- This movie sounds stupid but the NY Times and others have given it good reviews. A few have not. TRDB.

SILENT NIGHT

SILENT NIGHT- 2012. Synopsis by Rotten Tomatoes. “A loose remake of the horror classic Silent Night, Deadly Night, Malcolm McDowell and Jaime King star as a small-town sheriff and deputy on the hunt for a murderous Santa Claus terrorizing their community on Christmas Eve. But with the streets full of Santas for the annual Christmas parade, the killer is hiding in plain sight. He’s made his list, checked it twice, and the naughty are going to pay with their lives.”

11/30/12- An OK review in today’s NY Times. Others were not so generous. TRDB.
