4/15/16- Excellent reviews and I’ll try to see this one. TRDB.

9/20/16- I really enjoyed this French film and found myself rooting for Thierry to succeed. Netflix Streaming.

APPLES IN THE DESERT

APPLES IN THE DESERT- 2016. This Israeli movie was about a 19 year old girl living with ultra orthodox parents and an authoritative traditional father, looking for freedom.

4/11/16- A very good movie about issues that have been brought out before but generally not as well. The film prompted lots of discussion. TRDB. At the Palm Beach Jewish Film Festival in Boynton Beach.

 4/22/16- I saw this movie and thought it was interesting as I knew nothing about this group of people. TRDB.

3/18/16- Fairly good reviews. TRDB.

10/31/16- I enjoyed this movie very much. The old woman was a great character and the movie was like a poem for  me. TRDB. Netflix Streaming.

MY GOLDEN DAYS- 2016. Synopsis by Netflix. “In this episodic drama that unfolds in three segments, middle-aged anthropologist Paul Dédalus leaves the field and takes a desk job in Paris, where he muses on his turbulent youth and the love of his life, Esther.”

3/18/16- Very good reviews from critics and just fair ones from audiences. The NY Times and WSJ both rated it highly. TRDB.

8/12/16- A poignant coming of age drama from France. Complex and well acted and I enjoyed it. TRDB. Comcast On-Demand.
