3/27/15- Poor reviews. TRDB.

7/20/15- I saw this despite the poor reviews and I totally agree with the critics. The film had a few good scenes but was tedious for the most part. TRDB. Netflix.

3/27/15-  Good reviews but reviews in general were hard to find. The NY Times liked it. TRDB.

52 TUESDAYS

52 TUESDAYS- 2015. Synopsis by Netflix. “Filmed over the course of a year — and only on Tuesdays — this bittersweet coming-of-age drama charts a teenager’s struggle toward independence as her mother makes plans to transition from female to male.”

3/27/15– Fairly good reviews including some very good ones as well. TRDB.

8/1/15- A bit slow and tedious but definitely interesting and yet another take on the transgender issue. TRDB. Netflix Streaming.

RUN BOY RUN- 2013. Synopsis by Netflix. “On the run after fleeing the Warsaw ghetto during World War II’s dark days, an 8-year-old Jewish boy is by no means out of danger as he must scrounge for food and shelter — and disguise his faith if he’s to survive.”

3/21/15- No reviews in English but friends have told me that this movie is great. TRDB.

12/19/15- I enjoyed this Polish film that depicted the resourcefulness of this youth and his instinct for survival. At the Theater.

PLEASE BY NORMAL- 2015. Synopsis by Netflix. “Struggling playwright Victor and his pregnant girlfriend Mary hope for the best, but their bohemian Brooklyn apartment, an inability to make ends meet and Mary’s rich, meddling father drive Victor to feel trapped — and to do the unthinkable.”

3/20/15- I’ve seen just 1 professional review- from the NY Times- and it’s good. Audiences have not liked this movie at all. TRDB.
