MARK FELT: THE MAN WHO BROUGHT DOWN THE WHITE HOUSE- 2017. Synopsis by Netflix. “This fact-based biopic charts the life of FBI informant Mark Felt, aka “Deep Throat” — the principal unnamed source for reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein as they begin writing exposés that will blow the lid off the Watergate scandal.”
9/29/17- Awful reviews but it might be at least somewhat interesting to people who lived through this scandal. TRDB.
1/21/18- A movie that should be of interest turns out to be really boring. TRDB Netflix Disc.

9/26/17- I saw this wonderful movie at the 2017 Arab Film Festival at Jacob Burns. Interesting and full of issues still pertinent today. TRDB. At the Theater.

VICTORIA & ABDUL- 2017. Synopsis by Netflix. “In this historical drama, young Indian clerk Abdul Karim journeys to Britain to participate in the celebration of Queen Victoria’s 50th year on the throne. In the process, he unexpectedly forms a deep friendship with the monarch.”
9/22/17- I saw the trailer to this movie and it looked superficial to me. Also, I read so-called positive reviews that I thought were weak. TRDB.
11/1/17- Perhaps this story is true but still it seemed hard to believe. I think it was a vehicle for Judi Dench to cop yet another award for a part well played. TRDB. At the Theater.

9/22/17- This movie received some of the worst reviews I’ve seen in a long time from the critics. Somehow audiences seemed to have liked it. I’ll pass. TRDB.
