6/29/14- I enjoyed this documentary very much. As noted above, this event was really the early stage of sexual harassment awareness in the workplace. TRDB.

THE GERMAN DOCTOR- 2013. Synopsis by Netflix. “When a young family opens a lakeside lodge in Patagonia, they have no idea that their first guest will be a Nazi war criminal. Unbeknownst to them, the charming doctor so entranced with 12-year-old Eva is none other than Josef Mengele.”

4/25/14– The NY Times liked this movie as did audiences and most other critics. TRDB.
9/23/14- I found this movie both good and disturbing and wondered throughout where this fictionalized film would take us. TRDB.

7/5/14- I just couldn’t get past what I thought was awful acting with an awful script. The story itself was moderately entertaining. TRDB. Netflix.

11/19/14- I liked this movie very much. Very realistic acting and screenplay. TRDB.

MIELE- 2013- Synopsis by Netflix. “Despite the controversial nature of her work, Miele remains convinced she’s doing the humane thing by helping suffering people end their lives. But when a client insists he’s lived long enough — despite being healthy — her belief system is shaken.”
3/7/14- Excellent reviews from everybody including the NY Times. TRDB.
1/7/15- Very well acted story that deals with euthanasia in an unusual manner. I liked it very much. TRDB. Netflix Streaming.

GRAND PIANO- 2014. Synopsis by Netflix. “A pianist returning to the stage five years after a public meltdown learns that a sniper will shoot him and his wife if he plays just one wrong note. But the gunman’s twisted motives go far deeper than anyone suspects.”
3/7/14– Good reviews all around including the one calling it fun in today’s NY Times. TRDB.
6/1/14- One of the more ridiculous movies I’ve seen in a long time. TRDB.

JIMMY P.- 2014. Synopsis by Netflix. “Returning home from World War II, Blackfoot Native American Jimmy Picard suffers from a host of psychosomatic symptoms. In this drama based on a true story, he bonds with psychoanalyst Georges Devereux as the two explore his psyche for causes.”
2/14/14- A good review in today’s NY Times. Other reviews are mixed, some very good and some very bad. TRDB.
10/2/14- I agree with the “very bad” group of reviewers. Boring, boring and I turned it off. TRDB.
