AIDA’S SECRETS

AIDA’S SECRETS- 2017. Synopsis by Netflix. “This moving documentary chronicles the reunion of brothers Izak and Shep, born in the same refugee camp in postwar Germany yet unaware of each other’s existence for 65 years. But they soon learn there’s more to the story, including a family secret.”

WONDERSTRUCK

WONDERSTRUCK- 2017. Synopsis by Netflix. “Based on the novel of the same name, this period drama unspools two tales that play out 50 years apart. In 1927, a girl runs away to New York City to meet the actress she idolizes, while in 1977, a boy travels to the Big Apple find his long-lost dad.

MARSHALL

MARSHALL- 2017. Synopsis by Netflix. “Recounting an early case of attorney Thurgood Marshall — who would later become the first African-American Supreme Court justice — this riveting drama depicts his defense of a black chauffeur accused of sexual assault.”

10/10/17- I’ve seen just 4 reviews– all definitely positive but none raving. TRDB.

MUCH LOVED

MUCH LOVED- 2015. Synopsis by Netflix. “A group of women in Morocco make a living as prostitutes in a culture that is very hostile toward women in that profession.”

WALKING OUT- 2017. Synopsis by Netflix. “Texas teen David visits his father’s off-the-grid Montana home once a year, and this time Dad decides David is ready for his first big-game hunt. But when a run-in with a grizzly bear leaves Dad injured, David is forced to take charge.”

THE DEATH AND LIFE OF MARSHA P. JOHNSON- 2017.
