POLINA

POLINA- 2017. Synopsis by Netflix. “All Polina has ever wanted to do is dance. But her presumed path from being a student bound for the Bolshoi Ballet to star ballerina shifts when she meets a French dancer who introduces Polina to modern choreography and a more expressive dance form.”

8/25/17- Fair reviews by the critics and weaker ones from audiences. Sounds interesting to me. TRDB.

9/9/17- I loved the movie and all of its parts. Great dancing. TRDB. At the Theater.

CLASH

CLASH- 2017. Synopsis by Netflix. “Set during the tumult following Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak’s ouster in 2013, all of the action in this film takes place inside a police paddy wagon, where citizens of all political bents have been rounded up as violence rages in the streets.”
