10/18/13- This one sounds weird and most reviews were negative. The NY Times thought it had merit and liked it. JUST! TRDB.

SWEET DREAMS- 2013. Synopsis by Rotten Tomatoes. “Rwanda’s first and only all women’s drumming troupe is called Ingoma Nshya. Made up of women from both sides of the 1994 Rwandan genocide, the troupe offers a place of support, healing and reconciliation. When the group decides to partner with two young American entrepreneurs, Jennie Dundas and Alexis Miesen of Brooklyn’s Blue Marble Ice Cream, and open Rwanda’s first ever ice cream shop, these remarkable Rwandan women embark on a journey of independence, peace and possibility.”

BROKEN CIRCLE BREAKDOWN- 2012. Synopsis by Netflix. “Elise is a tattoo artist and religiously devout, while Didier is an atheist banjo player in a bluegrass band, but the two fall instantly in love. Years later, when their daughter becomes ill the crisis brings new challenges to their relationship.

GAHAN WILSON: BORN DEAD, STILL WEIRD- Synopsis by Rotten Tomatoes. “Jaffe’s moving and provocative documentary takes a penetrating look into the life and work of legendary cartoonist Gahan Wilson, whose often subversive and somewhat ghoulish drawings have appeared in The New Yorker, Playboy, National Lampoon, and Paris Match.
