BELLADONNA OF SADNESS- 2016. Synopsis by Netflix. “A woman makes a pact with the devil to exact revenge on the man who assaulted her in this masterpiece of 1970s psychedelic cinema. The story is told through gorgeous animated watercolor stills reminiscent of Alphonse Mucha’s art nouveau paintings.”
