LEARNING TO SKATEBOARD IN A WARZONE (IF YOU’RE A GIRL)- 1/29/20- Synopsis by Rotten Tomatoes. “As war continues to plague the country of Afghanistan, its citizens not only must navigate violence amidst their cities, but women must negotiate instances of significant oppression based on gender. This short documentary juxtaposes this backdrop against a series of interviews with young girls seeking to obtain an education, and take up the hobby of skateboarding in the process.”

The changes and critical events that have transpired there since the city was opened to foreign trade are closely examined in this cinematic profile.”
