They wed soon thereafter, but the stress of two artists struggling to succeed spells romantic disaster. Mary Kay Place and Lionel Stander co-star in director Martin Scorsese’s sparkling homage to the Big Band era, which features one of the most recognizable theme songs of all time.”

5/1/16- I enjoyed this movie, especially when it managed to end without a Hollywood ending. TRDB.

10/18/15- Excellent reviews for this drama starring Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara. TRDB.

1/4/16- Great reviews as noted and I liked the movie. I did feel that the love affair lacked the emotional intensity that I expected. I’ve also seen Cate Blanchett do much better. TRDB. At the Theater.
