Synopsis by Netflix. “Under the shadow of the Nazi crusade to exterminate European Jews, cycling champ Gino Bartali and an army of his compatriots went to perilous lengths to save thousands of Italian Jews from capture and death, as recounted in this moving documentary.”
3/27/15- I’ve seen just 3 reviews– two up and one down. Sounds interesting. TRDB.
11/17/15- An excellent documentary giving tribute to many Italians who gave sanctuary to Jews during the war. TRDB. Netflix Streaming.
