6/7/13- The NY Times gave this a luke warm review but others have not been so kind. TRDB.

MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING- 2012. Synopsis by Netflix. “In Joss Whedon’s modern take on the Shakespearean comedy, Claudio’s love for the beautiful Hero makes him a target of his friend Benedick’s mockery. But as Benedick trades barbs with Hero’s cousin Beatrice, he just may be falling in love.”

9/27/13- I’ll give this film a mixed review– some very good parts and some very bad, stupid parts. I do think it’s worth seeing as yet another coming-of-age story. TRDB. Netflix.

3/22/13- Good review in today’s NY Times and everyone else liked it also. TRDB.
10/21/13- After the first few minutes I wasn’t sure if I would l like this one but the 2 main characters grew on me especially the way they related to each other and I did enjoy the film. TRDB. Netflix.

JOHN DIES AT THE END- 2013. Synopsis by Rotten Tomatoes. “It’s a drug that promises an out-of-body experience with each hit. Suddenly a silent otherworldly invasion is underway, and mankind needs a hero. What it gets instead is John and David, a pair of college dropouts who can barely hold down jobs. Can these two stop the oncoming horror in time to save humanity? No. No, they can’t.”
2/1/13- This movie sounds stupid but the NY Times and others have given it good reviews. A few have not. TRDB.
