WILD TALES- 2015. Synopsis by Rotten Tomatoes. “Inequality, injustice and the demands of the world we live in cause stress and depression for many people. Some of them, however, explode. 2/16/15- An article in yesterday’s NY Times about this movie sounds very interesting. The film just won a Golden Bear in Berlin. TRDB.

HARD TO BE A GOD- 2015. Synopsis by Netflix. “In this dark tale, scientists are sent to observe and advance the planet Arkanar’s society, which is stuck in a time akin to Earth’s Middle Ages. While the visitors see things regressing, they’re forbidden to intervene in the natural order of events.”
1/30/15- This movie received great reviews from critics and mediocre ones from audiences. I have a feeling I’ll be with the audiences on this one. TRDB.

APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR- 2015. Synopsis by Netflix. “As a bisexual Iranian-American, Shirin doesn’t quite fit in to her perfect Persian family — and she can’t make a relationship work. So she goes on a journey of self-discovery and sexual adventure in an effort to come to terms with her identity.”

7/13/15- I was enjoying this movie until 1:12:09 when the DVD stopped and would not start again. I’ll report again after I watch the replacement disc. I can recommend it now, however. TRDB.
